The establishment of IBIZA Boats in 1991 was built on solid experience and a clear communication strategy. We had the background of good experiences at sea, we had the dynamic advantages, but we knew too little about the market. With support from professional circles in economics and social economics, we laid the foundation for developing archipelago boats for cottage owners, weekend users and a local core audience.

At IBIZA Boats we build on continuous experience from the childhood of leisure boats in Southern Norway. One of the success factors is undoubtedly that the boats are based on long-term, experience-based product development.
The value chain from design to production is managed by highly competent employees with strong local roots. The boats are entirely manufactured in Sørlandet, in Agder. Our boat fitters have extensive experience, also from several previously profiled boat manufacturers in the region. All of our subcontractors are based in Sørlandet and possess experience and knowledge that extends back to the childhood of plastic boats.
This ensures predictable quality, but also delivery reliability and price control. Part of the quality of a product is also characterized by a well-oiled production apparatus and a good system for follow-up deliveries and repairs. It is not without reason that all IBIZA boats delivered since 1991 are still afloat, in good working order.
Our philosophy is that a recreational boat that will be used in the Scandinavian archipelago must have characteristics that take into account the unique conditions that the landscape offers.
But, they must also meet the demands of our own time. In our boats, the solutions that meet the needs for safety and comfort must be well thought out down to the smallest detail. We succeed when our boats help bring people together, and lead them safely and comfortably through a shared experience. Even if it is just from A to B.
In the archipelago we moor the boats with the bow towards the mountain and with the dredge or anchor out the stern, or in a bay in the harbor. The boats are built with hand-laid polyester, where the thickness varies based on requirements for stiffness or flexibility.
